Here are a few images of this lovely new mural by Italian artist Gola Hundun recently painted in Caserta, Italy.
Titled “Venti e Correnti” and curated by INWARD, an organisation that aims to incentive the research and development in the field of urban art, the new mural presents a slightly different approach to what we are used to see in his work. 
Bright and bold colours and shapes, give way to subtle tones of greens and blues in a soft and calm depiction of nature.
According to Gola, the new piece was inspired by the gardens of Reggia di Caserta and the river that crosses the property; the peacefulness of the landscape and its rich vegetation. It depicts the delicate dance between the leaves touching the surface of the water and the aquatic plants of the river.
Not unlike the rest of his work, the new mural continues to explore the intimate relationship between human beings and the biosphere.
The idea behind the piece is to create a bridge between the grey parking space where the mural was painted and the confining garden. Originally conceived as a private parking lot, the place has recently been converted into a public space thanks to the efforts of the INWARD project and the city council.

Gola Hundun (b.1982 Cesena, Italy) his works explore the relationship between human beings and the biosphere. This consideration combined with the conscious decision to live as a vegetarian since the age of 16 positions the artist and his work closer to the animal sphere to the human sphere.
He explores themes such as interspecies communication, shamanism, a return to the earth, vegetarianism, and spirituality. Besides his work as painter, Gola Hundun also creates public installations incorporating wood, living plants,textile, music and live performances
Gola’s first foray into the world of art began with a classical artistic training at Ravenna’s high school of arts in Italy, for so start exploring the local street art scene at an age of 12. He continued his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna where he finally got a degree in Fine Arts. In 2004 he moved to Barcelona, where he still lives and works. Influenced by the local graffiti scene he decided to bring his creations back to the streets.
Since the Gola has exhibited in places such as Sao Paulo Brazil (2011), Jenin Palestine (2011), Moscow Russia (2012), Tokyo Japan (2012), Almaty in Kazakhstan (2013), and recently Miami in U.S.A. (2014) Dominican Republic(2016).
