Brazilian street artist Frederico Franco, also known as FredOne spent recently some time in Bosnia and Herzegovina invited to take part of this year’s Street Art Festival Mostar.
In addition to his main mural for the festival (image above), Franco spent some time painting around the city and visiting some of Mostar’s derelict buildings.
Born and raised in one of Brazil’s many suburbs, FredOne is a self-taught artist that started an early career as a builder assisting his father for almost ten years. This experience served as inspiration for his later artistic work based on simple geometric shapes inserted in abstract compositions. The work created for the Street Art Festival Mostar is a good example of this, featuring his signature style based in balanced abstract compositions and colour palette of red, black, white and greys.
