Alejandro Dorda Mevs, better known in the street art world as Axel Void, just shared with us new images of a wall he painted last year for the WEAART Festival in Aalborg, Denmark.For those who remember his last exhibition “Sehnsucht” at BC Gallery in august, the mural, depicting the head of a man wrapped in plastic, seems familiar. The show explored the feeling of numbness in our society in which there seems to be no clear direction, giving emphasis to the confusion emerged by a feeling of emptiness. Despite the apparent wellbeing that our modern consumer society provide, we are still missing something, a meaning, a purpose. We are asphyxiating, and we are apparently unable to do anything about it, because we are unaware of what is happening to us.
