Here the work of Spanish artist Gonzalo Borondo who is currently in India taking part of this year’s St+Art India for which he painted this amazing expressionistic piece.The new piece is part of WIP – The Street Art Show – , a group show that counts with the participation of local and international artists like NeverCrew (here) and hosted at the largest dry port in Asia- ICD (Inland Container Depot) – Tughlakabad, Okhla.
Borondo’s mural, painted over seven containers, resembles the shape of a cathedral or a palace. There are some recognisable elements in the painting that ties it to the place or land where it is painted, the exotic structure of the building, a black goat, but most seem to dissolve in some kind of dream-like alternative dimension, like an optical illusion, a mirage.
