Argentinian-born visual artist Hyuro is back in the streets with this new and existentialist mural recently painted in Madrid.According to Hyuro, the new wall speaks of the internal contradictions we are confronted with in our daily lives and which according to the artist are the result of “conflicts arising from opposite desires of our relationship that we maintain with things, people and ideas. A constant state of negation and acceptance of who we are and what we want to be, thoughts based on ideals and socially set patterns that take us away from the reality of the present and the understanding of who we truly are.” A lovely conceptual piece that makes you reflect about your own existence and invite to reflection.
The mural, painted in the Vallecas neighbourhood, was curated by Remedios Vincent (Taller de FEEAS) and represents an insightful addition to Madrid’s urban and cultural landscape.
