Luca Ledda New street pieces x Festival Concreto, Brazil

Italian visual artist Luca Ledda was until recently in Brazil invited to take part of this year’s Festival Concreto organized for which he painted a couple of street pieces in the streets of Fortaleza, Brazil.
Beautiful in a very singular way, the work of Italian illustrator and muralist Luca Ledda will certainly catch your eye.
His line work makes everything possible through surrealist depictions of an alternate reality. Mythical, surreal, intelligent, reflective, all descriptions that do the trick when it comes to describe his art.
The pieces here shown are a good example of that. They are humorous and clever making a great use of the space.
In one of the murals we find one of Ledda’s signature characters. The naked (and quite large) man stands in front of us, mouth open, whilst two red roses come out of his ears, one on each side. The artist decides to incorporate one of the windows into the composition, which painted over in red, with only some empty spaces shaped as clouds, glows in the dark during the night when lights are turned on.
The second piece shows the same man. His head has been separated from his body and his skull is open with white bean-like elements. He seem conscious and has a calm, resigned look in his eyes.
