La Ronda painted in Los Alambres neighbourhood
David de la Mano and Pablo S. Herrero are now in Spain where they recently painted a series of new pieces in two peripheral neighbourhoods of Salamanca (Los Alambres and El Arrabal), part of their project intended to decentralize street art and instead bring it to peripheral neighbourhoods and villages. Not only in order to bring an aesthetic alternative to the cultural panorama, but also bring to light areas that have been abandoned by municipalities.
As usual we seem confronted to poetic pieces that harmoniously integrate into the spaces they are painted as if they were part of the structure and history of the walls and their surroundings. Delicate silhouettes that exhale nostalgia for times long gone bringing awareness about what have been lost and what we should preserve.
