Here a fresh new mural by Italian artist Pixel Pancho who is now in Miami for Art Basel where he was asked to paint a new piece for the Raw Project.
Painted at Jose de Diego Middle School, the new mural is done with his usual earth tones and depicts a robot couple, seeming to pose for a photograph from a long-passed era, adding some nostalgia to the piece.
According to the creators of the RAW project (Re-imagining the Arts inWynwood), the project seeks to begin a conversation and a process that bridges the old and new Wynwood through the very medium that has given it its newfound fame. More about the project here.
