Here a beautiful new mural by Pastel painted for the Muropolis Festival in Mendoza, Argentina.
The mural features Pastel’s usual figurative imagery where natural elements like plants play an important role, always highlighting a more conceptual approach to the wall.
Painter and architect, Pastel combines his passions in exploring the relationships between urban art, architecture and city life, but also history.
This new mural features the plants of the native “pehuenche” community, from before the spanish invasion. The Pehuenche or people of pehuén are indigenous people part of the Mapuche community living in the Andes in south central Chile and Argentina and are an important part of the popular culture of these two countries.
