After his first mural for the ARTURb project about a week ago (here), Borondo has continued working on new installations (both collaborative and not) and this new large-scale mural in Lagos featuring the image of a woman facing the viewer and giving her back to four other adults painted in grey tones in order to create distance, between the indiscernible group and our female figure.
During his residency Borondo had the opportunity to create a series of pieces that until now include two murals and three installations. “Fugit Tempus” is a collaboration with Carmen Maín and consists of an installation and a video recording the process of burning a flower garland. Other two installations are “Fire Experiments” and “Corrupt”, Corrupt shows the impeccable image of a man (his portrait) dressed up with a red fabric that goes from the inside of a room and all the way to the entrance of the building where it seems to almost disintegrate.
