ECB Hendrik Beikirch is now in India where he just finished this beautiful black and white portrait of Gandhi in New Delhi, India the same city where Gandhi was killed 56 years ago.
A lovely portrait of a man who employing nonviolent civil disobedience, led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.
Beikirch, known for his outstanding photorealistic portraits focuses on the meaning of each face he paints which are not only related to specific figures, but also represent the people and the culture behind them:
