UK artist and former graphic designer Remi Rough is now in Detroit invited by the Library Street Collective to be a part of the so-called Garage Project.
Curated for a new parking space in collaboration with Detroit entrepreneur Dan Gilbert, the Library Street Collective commissioned 23 artists from all over the world to paint murals in a newly constructed mixed-use space.
Remi Rough was one of them. The massive 35,5 mts long wall gives room to his particular style in which colour is the key element whilst line and shape are the conveyance for that.
In the past years we’ve seen a lot of interesting work from Remi Rough including impressive solo walls, great collaborations and numerous projects with the Agents of Change collective (worth to have a look at!).
Other artists participating of the project are Augustine Kofie, Duncan Jago, Push, Dabs and Myla, Interesni Kazki and How and Nosm, just to mention some of them. Excited to know more about the project in the next days!
